Lion Left As it should be apparent from browsing the pages at our Web-Site, membership in the Clan Hamilton Society has many benefits. One of the most important is that members gain connection recognition and communication with other Hamiltons throughout the world. A few of the many others include:

Mailing of the quarterly newsletter, An Darach. This is an excellent newsletter that has won awards several times for its excellent artiles on Hamilton History and Scottish heritage.
Use of Clan tent at Scottish Games and Festivals. The Clan tent is place to rendezvous, sit a spell, visit , watch games/events, make new friends, and hear frequent discussions about Clan Hamilton.

Publishing of queries in An Darach.
Additional information and materials on the Hamiltons and Scotland. Members only section of web site contains many additional articles on our Scottish heritage.

Without the financial support of active members, the Society would not be able to continue to promote the purposes of our Bylaws as stated on the Clan Hamilton Society page. We need your support and active participation! Send in your membership application today. If you are a member that has let their membership expire, we would also love to hear from your with your renewal of membership; just note on the application your prior membership number or mailing address at time of membership.

Membership in the Clan Hamilton Society is open to all persons who bear the name or are descendents of Hamilton. According to rules set by the Duke of Hamilton, REGULAR members are those bearing the name Hamilton or a recognized variation. ASSOCIATE members are those of Hamilton descent. FAMILY membership includes all members of the family, including children under 18. Children under 18 meeting any of the above requirements may be JUNIOR members. There is no distinction in recognition, rights or services between the membership classifications. Dues are only $20 ($28 Canadian Ł14 UK, $32 AUS) annually for Individual and Family Membership and Junior Membership (under 18) is only $6. Life memberships are also available. Dues are on a fiscal year basis of March through February. Applications received after December 31st will be credited for the next fiscal year.
